OK, so you can save RAM by using the same maps over and over in
your materials in the same scene…
What about the repetitive use of an .sxp in a material? It's no longer a
RAM issue, but what about speed?
Say I am using noise.sxp as Texture1 ("I am using noise.sxp as
Texture1"). Will I see any benefit of copying it over (exact same
settings) as a mask somewhere else, or would rendering times be the
same as if I had used a different .sxp? If yes, does it matter if
the material is used by more than one object (I would imagine that it
would)?
