#Refractive Metaballs

Hi Martin,
> you guys are geniuses!!!
Aw, shucks….
Can we see a demo of this at Siggraph or even an upload here?
Both packages will be demo'd and available at Siggraph. Also, check out
Refblob.zip. It should be available for download in a day or two. It's a
simple animation showing some of the effect you'll be able to produce with
metaballs and refraction mapping.
Once I've had a chance to play with this a bit more, I'll be posting some new
samples.

Danny –
REFBLOB.ZIP has been set to go to the public library and will get released
after 3AM Eastern. The water dripping and running off like that made me feel
quite refreshed after another hot steamy day in Maine.

Thanks Anne,
It's been pretty steamy here in Toronto as well. Hmmm… maybe there was some
subconsious inspiration there?
Danny…
Hi, Danny!
What a coincidence. I just welcomed two my friends-programers from Toronto:
they could not stand steamy Toronto weather and came to my house for a week
to stay away fro m hot humidity…
You are welcome too,

Hi, Danny!
Saw your RefBlob flick.
Wow, that's great!
Is it the first refractive metaballs rendered on the PC?
Are we on the way to PC game "Free Willy" or "Abyss"?

I guess you could say that this is the first "public" refractive metaball
animation.
I'm currently working on another, more complicated, animation to show off the
refraction/metaball potential.
I can't wait to try the Aurora stuff. Will you be sending me something to test
prior to Siggraph?
Danny…
Danny!
We've made Aurora compatible with Blobs!
Wait for files with my short explanations tonight!
Every day we are adding features to Aurora, so we don't want you
to publicly dicsuss what it can or can't do (like NDA),
BUT we will not remove any feature which is already there,
so feel free to upload any images or animations you'll find
attractive enough.
Enjoy!

YES!!!
I look forward to receiving the latest code.
Talk to you soon,
Danny…
