#Purchasing 3D Studio

Does anyone know where I can get 3DS for under $100? $3000 is a bit pricey for
me. Any help is appreciated.

Yes, but it is VERY complicated. The hardest steps are paying off the huge
fines imposed by the judge and telling your cellmate Bubba to pick up his own
soap. <g>

That was pretty good. But I was looking for maybe an old version with that
"dongle" thing that no one was going to use.

Keep your eyes glued to Section 12 where people often post used software for
sale. It usually goes quick though. I did see a discounted version 2
available through Surplus Software, but I think it was closer to $500. If you
are a full-time student that meets certain requirements, there are student
versions available as well. I think there was also some sort of educational
bundle that included older versions of AutoCAD, 3DS and one or two other
packages, but very limited documentation.
