Villagers: I'm throwing this one out to see who bites. A little gedanken for for your kopfen. Can a purely digitized, unmodified picture be called <original> art? Think of photography, think of painting, then consider if all the digies on this board should really be called art (I'm not voicing an opinion either way, I'm just curious about the mass ensemble.) That's the beginning of a great debate! Is photography art? Is electronicly reproduced noise music? I'll stay out of this one as I've been around this circle before with some rather conservative views! For the purpose of this forum, however, human created, hand drawn pictures go into Lib 6 — all others (digitized, ray-traced, program generated, etc.) go into Lib 11 (Derived Art).
