I agree, Steve. (Remember – Tim is a friend, but *I* have no connection
whatever with Precision aside from knowing a few of its employees.)
Just today, a friend called to say he had tried to run his copy of SuperBASE
PRO in order to better understand the presentation Tim is to make at his user
group Thurs. night. The dongle wouldn't work! So he has a brand new copy of
the program and can't run it. NOT good public relations.
I'm saving all of these messages for Tim to read when he visits me again on
Thursday. So just keep 'em coming. We're thinking of putting them on a disk
for him to take back to the "powers" of the company.
Reminds me of a presentation Jim O'Flaherty of Haitex at AmiExpo in New York
last fall……if memory serves me right he was demoing Acquisition which at
the time was dongled. Jim was going to be doing his demo on a 2000 which at
the time were still pretty new. Unfortunately the dongle wouldn't fit in the
joystick port since it had been designed for the 1000 joystick port. Jim had to
do his demo without being able to use onscvreen illustrations. I believe
Acquisition was dedongled soon after that.
