The DeskJet uses the HP LaserJet driver just fine, from what I understand.
There is a review of the DeskJet in Amy Report 2 – I think it's AMYREP.ARC in
LIB 3.
I think that the DeskJet is PCL level IV, whereas the LaserJet is level V. As
far as what the Amiga Driver can do, you are probably right Henry, although any
escape code sequences not understood will print on the page, ruining it.
I would be interested in sending a binary Email to anyone with a deskjet
with expanded memory for them to test the output from LaserPlot, a HP Laserjet
driver I wrote for PCLO+, to see if it would work. -Greg
