A1000 AT-style keyboards
7 messages in this thread
Hi.
I understand that C Ltd. was selling replacement AT-style keyboards for the
A1000 at the Chicago AmiExpo.
I would be EXTREMELY interested in hearing the details of this and especially
how to acquire one.
All replies will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Thats right, Its a AT style 101 keys, with built in macros. It will work on
the 1000, or 2000.
Should be available from you local dealer, If not and he doesn't want to get ya
one, give me a call.
Thanks for asking!
Charlie
Thanks!
It's just what I need. I have been to my dealer and he apparently wants nothing
to do with it. He told me simply "It not available yet!"
What number do I call and should I ask for anyone in particular?
Thanks…

C Ltd,
This replacement keyboard I've hard about, is it "campatible" with
CBM's newer A2000 keyboard. I have the "Cherry" keyboard (the one
with the small function keys) and am having some problems with a
couple of programs which I have AN Immediate need for.
BTW, How much are the suckers.

Yes, it will work with the a2000, and the a1000, and the a500. It takes some
hardware knowlage to install it in the 500.
the keyboard is around $130.00, sorry I don't have a price list around.

C ltd.
Charlie,
My main concern is if it work with things that my "cherry" board
will not work with due to some developers taking shortcuts to
reading the keyboards. EG. Transformer works with the A1000,
A500, but not the A2000 with a "cherry" board but with an A2000
with the newer keyboards from CBM. Mike D.
