Hey I got it working, many thanks to Bill Eastburn and Seven Bennett…Save IFF worked but for some reason loading it into Digipaint changed the pallete. When I tried the same drawing in Photon Paint, it worked like a charm…Now I can capture pictures on my TARGA and pass it on to my Amiga and use it there with Photon Paint, the Director, etc…. Perfect… One last question, though, can I used a Null Modem and some simple communication software to pass the files from IBM to AMIGA? Should work Huh? Any public domain modem software out there for the Amiga? How about the terminal emulator that came on my Amiga Dos disk?

Paul, If you're using a null-modem look into Aterm7.3, over in 'Tech's lib 4. If you can get the IBM side onto 3.5 disks, or have a 5.25 drive on the Amiga, there is a commercial program, Dos-2-Dos, that will do the proper translation and copying. Doug

Paul, As publishers of Photon Paint, we would be interested in seeing some of the images you transferred from the TARGA board. If you don't care to upload them here, perhaps we could send you a disk to send back to us. —Mike Berro/MicroIllusions

It seems that there are a lot of Amiga vidiots out on the islands. You don;t happen to know Lynne Balvin? —Mike
