While all the discussion of TCP/IP is going on… Does anyone know how to access an internet nameserver from the Amiga, using the AS225 TCP/IP software over a direct ethernet connection? I've been happily networking locally for a while now, but my company just attached to the internet (hooray!!) . I need to tell the AS225 s/w how to use our regional net node to resolve internet addresses that aren't in my hosts file. The unix machines can do it… Thanks, John Conant 72060,764 jconant@aerodyne.com

AS225r1 doesn't do nameservers. Requires AS225r2. — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing — INTERNET:dale@iam.com

Thanks. I'm going to spring for AS225 support from GfxBase – Dale Luck says I can get the latest version (shich includes a beta of SLIP, also!). John

I don't have a nameserver here, so I couldn't tell you. Sorry.
