Here's a weird one – does anyone have a clue why the mouse pointer on my A4000 is off by a pixel or two? I mean that I have to click slightly to the right of where I WANT to click! I corrected it somewhat by editing the pointer, and placing the hot spot differently, but I'd really like to know what's up… Thanks, John Conant

John, In what program do you notice this? It's generally difficult to see exactly where the pointer is pointing at normal display resolutions.

I've noticed in several places – perhaps the most annoying is in IconEdit, where I actually have to click in the pixel to the RIGHT of the one I want! It seems to be in all apps, though, including PageStream.

John, Hmmm, I've never seen one that far off.

John, load up the pointer editor and move the hot spot one pixel to the right. Then when you click you'll be clicking where you're pointing. …Steve

I've done that. It helps with apps that use the system pointer. Unfor- tunately, IconEdit, and other programs, have their own pointer! The "cross" pointer in IconEdit isn't changed when I change the standard arrow…
