Tom, the chatter on BIX is that LHARC 1.2 must see a longword 0 in mem. location 0 or is is flaky. Nasty programs that play with location 0 might be the culprit. Check that out. — Art

Art, I'd consider programs that are flakey if location 0 isn't 0 nasty programs as well. Khalid.

Right…._reading_ location 0 with a NULL pointer is as nasty as writing to location 0. However, at least its easier to temporarily patch the reader by stuffing 0 there. -Mike

Hi Tom, Also if you have a 2091 in your system you might have problems, it changes location 0 to non-zero. Mike
