2.0 Version?

Does anyone know the latest version number of OS 2.0? Mine current version is: KickStart 36.141, and Workbench version 36.68. Is mine newer or older? How do you go about getting the latest version? Thanks as always 🙂 Jamie

Jamie, We are a small chain of Amiga-only retail stores in Houston, TX. We also market the ColorSplitter NTSC to RGB converter for digitizing, the Perfect Sound audio digitizer, City Desk Desktop publishing program, and others. Yes, your 36.68 is the latest version that is shipping on the A3000 production models. 36.10 is an older beta that came with the early demo machines. You say you market PerfectSound. Do you, or does anyone else, know what happened to the FutureSound people? The quality of the recording is truly excellent. At 27K it is VERY hard to tell the difference from a CD, I can't. I have no complaints about the hardware, but apparently the company is out of business and there will obviously be no software upgrades. Is this the case? I'm currently using AudioMaster II with it, but AM doesn't support the Microphone port on it. — Ethan

Ethan, I use futuresound with Audiomaster II and it works perfectly with the microphone. or am I misreading your message about it? As long as the box keeps working, I'll stick with AMII. It's far superior to the software that came with FS. If I'm reading you right and the microphone port is no go for you, you might want to DL SuperEcho by Kevin Kelms from the libs to test it out. It's a fun program and will let you test your mic out in real time. See ya, Jim
