Has anyone here used a Star SG-10 printer with an Amiga, AMAX, or XT-BB? What printer driver did you use? How was the print quality? How about speed on graphic dumps? No witty signature, just: Ernie Gorrie, Port Coquitlam, B.C., Canada.

Ernie, I used one of the drivers from Library 7 when I was using the Star SG-10 printer. It worked quite nicely except that I was never able to get the spacing quite right. If I printed multi-page documents, they would be gin to run off the bottom of the page after three or four pages. I didn't do much with graphics at the time, so I cannot tell you about that. .Betty

Ernie, There is a printer driver for the SR-10 that I did a lot of work on to add a number of features and make 1.3 compliant. From what I can tell, this printer has the same command set as the SG-10 (a person sent me a copy of the SG-10 manual dealing with the commands), so the driver should work pretty good with your printer. It should be in the printer driver section. Do a browse with my PPN (76475,1146) as a key (BRO/DES/KEY:76475,1146). Ah, I took a look at my copy of the library catalog. The file name is SR10.ARC and it is 10163 bytes long. Be sure to read the doc file in the archive! Very important. 73, Kelly
