Sorry to jump in on this thread, but I thought you could help me with
something.
A coworker asked me to drop a message in the ROOTS forum to help him locate
the town from which an ancestor came in the 1700s. I set Whap! to join up
and get the sections there for me, but there seem to be no sections, and it
won't get messages, or anything else. Am I doing something wrong, or is
ROOTS simply an odd ball forum that Whap! can't handle?

Ray, no – ROOTS is just like all the other forums. There are 11 sections
for messages and 12 libraries. I cannot imagine why you are having a
problem with it! It is a very active forum, with messages scrolling pretty
much the same as here – and a very friendly, active place, too. You'll
fell right at home over there! I suggest that you delete the roots.sec
file that you have, and try all over again. If something went wrong the
first time, and you don't erase the .sec file, it just keeps repeating the
same problems.
