#Commodore 4Q & FY91

interestingly, CBU reached about $20/share a few months ago, then dropped
steadily to about 11, and in the week or so preceding this most recent
announcement climbed back to 15 – then dropped like a rock back to 12 after
the apparently good news. Must not have been good enough for the pros. At
12, CBU might be a good buy. It's at its lowest point in months.
Yes, I still can't figure out their drop after reporting the quarterly and
yearly gains. The profits came after LOSSES same quarter last year and
were BIGGER than expected. Maybe the personnel cutbacks had something to
do with it.
Heck, Apple reported over a $50 million loss last quarter and their stock
ROSE!

Analysts were predicting higher earnings. Alex, Brown and Sons were
predicting earnings twice as high as they were. The main problem was
currency rates.

Contratians reign supreme – or maybe it was the Magnavox CD-I showing at
the consumer electronics show and the fact that CDTV has not really
captured the market before the big guys are ready to jump in that convinced
the professional investers that CBM STILL can't market the greatest things
since sliced bread.
