#Sentry on T-Rexx
2 messages in this thread
Barbara,
Noticed when I tried to open "Sentry" in the T-Rexx window, I got all sorts of
queer things happening.
Told the folk at ASDG about it. It would seem that on some copies of the
software a file named "req.library" was missing (as in my case). They were
good enough to download that file to me on CIS. Put it into the Amiga LIBS
directory and all was well.
Just to let you know in case you have a similar problem.
All the best, HILARY
Hilary,
Haven't touched TRexx yet, because I'm STILL WAITING FOR MY TOASTER
UPGRADE! It's been seven weeks now of incompetence, finger-pointing, and
incredible frustration on my part. Because I'm in Canada, NewTek says I
have to go through the distributor, the distributor says I have to go
through the dealer and none of the above seem to care whether or not I get
service, good or otherwise. I wouldn't mind so much, but I paid for the
thing up front and I've been very nervous throughout the ordeal as to
whether I'll ever see the money or the Toaster again.
I have high hopes of seeing it by week's end, though. I have reports that
a shipment is destined for the distributor, the dog sled may even now be
mushing its way northward.
Once I get the thing, I will be installing the TRexx upgrade I got for use
the the Toaster4000 and hope to do wonderful things. I will have a look
when I install it to make sure the req.library is there. Thanks for the
tip, and sorry to rant on so.
Barbara.
