I have just tried to connect a ScanJet IIc to my Amiga 4000/040 and (of
course?) it isn't working.
My GVP Impact Series II SCSI board "sees" the scanner, at least FaaastPrep says
it does. But the scanner software (ASDG's HP ScanJet IIc Loader, V 1.0) says
the scanner can't be found. I've tried it under ADPro and as a stand-alone
(Scan To Disk).
The scanner is set to SCSI address #3 and is the last item on the chain that
includes an 88 meg. SyQuest drive (#4) and a Sony CDU 541 CD-ROM (#5). The
scanner is terminated.
A tech at GVP says the problem is with the ASDG driver.
Any thoughts?

There is an environment-variable to let the loader-module know that you're
not using scsi.device but gvpscsi.device. Have you set this correctly?
