Hi, is there someone using the ADIDE harddrive kit and the SupraRAM RX with
an Amiga 500 and the kickstart 2.0???
It looks like that when this memory extension is used with that controler
there are problems to reboot the system with Ctrl-A-A… it GURUs!
I tried another kind of memory expansion and it works fine…
Also, it is not a defective unit… I tried 3 different for both the ADIDE
kit and the SupraRAM rx?
I guess that I am not the only one having this configuration!

I have the same system, A500 (rev 6a), 500RX (2meg), AD-IDE (52 meg
Quantum) and 2.04 and have not had a bit of trouble of any kind.

Could you see any revision number on your AdIDE interface!?

No, I'm afraid not. About all I can tell you is that I bought it about
ten months ago.

Pat,
when our SupraRAM RX was causing guru's with the 500, it turned out to
be a loose chip inside the 500.
