#Toshiba CDROM drive

Gary Hobish,
WOW! Fantastic! Thats the best way to sum up the "plug and play"
abilities of the Toshiba XM-3201B CDROM drive that I just purchased from
you! It took me less than an hour to disassemble "AMY" and install/address
the drive, then a few seconds to install the "ASIMWARE ASIMCDFS" driver
software and ZOOM, I was reading the "FISHMARKET" CD that comes with the
driver software…Fred Fish Disks 1 – 637!!! I am overwhelmed with all the
data that I now get to go through. Then, I tried the ASIMWARE ASIMTUNES
software to check out the audio CD functions and there were NO problems at
all! I am impressed! I had some reservations at first about buying the
drive, but when you responded via email with tech specs AND the
installation experiences of another Amiga owner I felt very comfortable. It
came within 7 days (you being in CA and me in OH UPS Ground) and the total
costs of shipping and COD and the drive was $267….I CANNOT COMPLAIN!!! I
have already printed off several copies of the directories of the first 310
fish disks for friends and they are all looking to come up with the money
for their own units. Thanks dude! You've made my already exciting Amiga
2000 even more so! Jamie Severe
Jamie,
Are you sure that wasn't an advertisement ;-)?

Sean,
Hmmmm, maybe it was :^) ! I am just so overwhelmed by the amount of data
that I have to go through!! And it really couldn't be easier! I've read and
heard so many nightmares about the cdrom drives that I was real scared
about diving in (wrong rom revs on scsi boards, incompatible formats on the
cd's, etc…). Maybe I should try advertising<G>!!
