Hiding my message does not change the facts any more than an ostrich can escape his enemies by burying his head. The facts are: 1. C-A cannot, or does not choose to, make 2.xx widely available. 2. Software writers are making 2.xx ONLY software more commonplace. QED: A large number of users cannot use the newer software, and Amiga is dying because of it. Bill, K3OZM

I apologize, Steve. I just checked my forum options and found two sections turned off. I have no idea how that happened unless Whap! did something strange last time I updated the section list.

Bill, You seem to have your facts wrong. 2.04 is widely available. You're the only one that I heard of who can't get it. You're acting like there's some kind of conspiracy to prevent users from getting their hands on 2.04. What's the basis for your statement that "A large number of users cannot use the newer software…"? There are at least 6 dealers in NY within driving distance that are stocked to the rafters with 2.04. If for some reason your local dealer hasn't been able to get 2.04, were you going to just wait for it, even if it took a year to arrive? If your local dealer went out of business, would you just never buy 2.04? The problem is with your dealer, not with 2.04 availability. If you want 2.04, just buy it somewhere else. Good luck.
