There is definitely a new version of ImageFX for the EGS being readied. This ImageFX takes fully advantage of the EGS with a slick windowing interface! Kermit Woodall Nova Design, Inc.

"Also, I notice your latest adds for the Spectrum tout a new paint program.. "Spectra-Paint…formerly EGS Paint". Is this merely a name change, or has the program been updated?" SpectraPaint is a name change and a version upgrade. The name EGS-Paint ended up being a little too generic, so we had to name it something else. At the same time, we didn't want to just change the name, so we added some features, and will continue to do so… Gary Nush

Chuck, SpectraPaint is an updated version of EGS-Paint. It has not been released yet. ImageFX will be updated to be fully EGS compatible. Currently, the only EGS function within ImageFX is the render module. Mike
