#Another mystery

On the second page of my TOASTER manual in the INTRODUCTION under "What's
New For System 2.0 ?" it says: —CG Render Text Directly to Framestores
Render CG-quality text directly over 24-bit images, and save the results as
a Framestore. —I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that.
Anyone able to help me ?

There is a tutorial on how to do that.
It should be enough info to get you started.

Look in the "Cool Tips" addendumon page 4. Even that description is a bit
sketchy. Here's the basic poop; Load your favorite frame or 24 bit image
into Tpaint, go back to the switcher (do not exit Tpaint, use the option
"switcher" from the picture menu) then enter CG, define new page (F-1),
define framestore page (F-4), Press Alt and F-3 simultaneously to select
background color, in the background color screen press F-2, you will then
notice a new button that has a paint brush on it, you don't need to select
it, just press enter to return to your CG screen. Enter some text, press
F-9 to render to preview, then F-10 to program if you like what you see,
Alt + F-9 will save the resulting image as a buffer page for faster
loading. You can make page composition easier if you use the two monitor
setting in your preferences menu. Hope this helps.
