Actually, that demo was rather inexpensive (under 20K!) Animation works
lets us do wonderful things easily and demo costs are coming down… If you
want, I'll send you the Zenith Z-Station demo too. It is a couple megs
arc'd. You want me to upload it like the other one?
Sure Doug, I'd love to see your Zenith demo? Just send it the same way you
did before.
We are starting to assemble the pictures and animations that we have
recieved into a second CD. I would really like to have a GRAFX
subdirectory for the fine work that you and your team have done over the
last few years. Last year when I started to follow through on my idea about
making a CD of demos, I had no idea that it would be as well recieved as it
has been. Are you interested in joining in this time?
Problem is Phil, I don't have time to organize al the stuff. And I don't
want a hodge-podge of our stuff out there. I have already won 3 jobs this
year from folks who had seen your CD, then asked to see our stuff. When I
get involved with a client I can select the demos to send which best suit
his needs. If he sees my stuff on a generic CD, then he makes an opinion
based on that. I don't believe it best suits my marketing needs. As far as
a generic CD for the masses to watch demos, again, I gain nothing. I am
glad you are doing the project but the only folks I see getting any press
or benefiting from it are you guys. Not the guys on the disk. Now, for
smaller companies though, the extra press might help. Keep up the good
work!
That makes sense Doug. You have enough demos now that you could probably
press your own. Sorry that you don't want to participate but I can see
your reasons.
