Michael:
I'm located in Delmenhorst (the only 80000-people-town in Germany nobody
knows…) between Bremen (should be known) and Oldenburg (my university).
The kinds of programs …
– mathematics (for the university)
(2 years ago I made a fortran course, but programmed in C 🙂 The
results were the same up to the last digit, so nobody noticed it …)
– small utilities (unpublished)
– twice "commercial" software
BTW In some days (or weeks) I'm releasing a shareware program (my last
project). Currently I'm making an international version (at least English
too). I hope that somebody is interested. It was written for a PC
(sorry!) so it doesn't look very amiga-like (the only programm that
violates EVREY rule of the style guide…). But before I'm making it look
like a real amiga programm, I want to know if somebody wants it.

well, I hope you'll upload your shareware program to CIS somewhere
appropriate and let us know about it.
You're correct…. I din't know Delmenhorst… but I do now!

_*I AM A REALLY CHERRY AMIGA OWNER WITH MANY QUESTIONS AND FEW ANSWERS –
PLEASE F SOLICITING ANSWERS FROM ALL & ANY – FOR STARTERS, WHAT THE HECK IS
WHAP? HOW DO I DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE (PUBLIC DOMAIN TYPE)? AND WHAT MAKES THIS
SECOND HAND AMIGA HAND AMIGA SO MUCH BETTER THAN MY OLD 286?
Garry,
Whap! is an automated access program for CIS. A functional demo version is
available in the ATI section of the AmigaVendor forum for downloading. It
will do a nice job for the software downloading that you mention.
What type of Amiga did you buy? I hope that your last comment means that
you're impressed with your Amiga's capabilities.
Hope this helps, 8)

Thanx, I have loaded and will proceed with experimentation. Thank you for
the information, I will let you know how this turns out.
