Phillip, I've recently bought PDraw3 and had great difficulty in installing it on my hdisk. A friend who bought the upgrade direct from GD had exactly the same problem. Click on the install icon and select a partition and new drawer. Great. Click on proceed and all the string gadgets are ghosted and the program hangs. It doesn't crash the Amiga but does need a reboot. Nothing we did would persuade the install prog to work so we did it by hand. Not easy. Pete from West Dorset in Englands West Country – via Whap!

Pete, What is your system config? We have had some problems utilizing Commodores install program, but that was if the path had a space somewhere in the name (ie: WorkBench: <ok Work Bench: <problems)…all would install ok, except for the executable itself. The problem was easily corrected by removing the space from the name (I seem to remember way-back-when that CBM and their dealers warned of spaces in file names). Philip Laitar Supervisor

I use an A3000 with 6mbs ram etc otherwise nothing out of the ordinary. My sys partition is called WB_2.X as is usual and PDraw lives in dh2: Thats about it. Ummm…what about writing a straight forward script that can run via iconx? – via Whap!
