To ALL, Can anyone tell me what the options are for expanding a 3000 beyond the 18 meg memory limit on the motherboard? Thanks, Rich

Richard: The A3000 has 32 bit ZORRO III slots. Just pop in a memory baord to add up 64 meg additional ram. I believe that DKB has such an animal. // Michael \X/ …on AutoPilot

Michael, We don't have a Zorro III memory board, BUT that doesn't mean we won't have one either. <grin> Dean DKB Software

Rich, PP&S has a 64MB Zorro III card for the A3000. You could install four of these for a total of 274MB in the system. Plus you can add an 040 board that has room for RAM to expand the memory even further. If you just need a LITTLE more memory, you can always add a 16-bit 8MB Zorro II card; but once your system starts using this RAM it will slow down quite a bit.

Denny, Thanks. I want to expand memory without the cost of an 040 upgrade. The 040 upgrade will have to wait until the pocketbook recovers somewhat. Rich
