Two questions please: 1). I just purchased Autodesk Animator Pro V1.0 and am using it with a Diamond Stealth VRAM card with 1MB. Does your software now support this card? If so, how can I get a driver for it? The video card itself only comes with "DLD386" which is a Stealth VRAM driver for AutoCAD & 3DStudio, which basically is for increasing speed. 2). Must I deactivate HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE and Windows 3.1's SMARTDRIVE completely before running Animator Pro? With HIMEM and EMM386 activated, I attempted to run Animator Pro for the first time. Received error msg 35 from PharLap (somebody likes horses?). So, I deactivated both HIMEM and EMM386, ani.exe started up just fine. Thank You (alot) for your help. – Jolie Renee

Jolie: You need to run the Diamond card's vesa driver then use the vesa driver for AniPro… You >may< be able to upgrade the PharLap memory manager using NEWDX so that it will work under HIMEM/EMM386 but I'm not sure… if Phil doesn't tell you what to do, let me know and I will look into it further. Jolie, I see that Craig has already answered your first question, so I'll just attend to your second question. The easier way to fix this problem is to use something like QEMM instead of HIMEM and EMM386. It does what they are supposed to do plus a whole lot more. Otherwise, in lib 10, there is a file called NEWDX.ZIP that might solve this problem for you.
