I'm doing a slide presentation and would like to use some images from an animation. Has anyone ever tried to get images from 3DS/AniPro to PowerPoint? We've had success printing images by taking GIF files and converting them to TIFF in Photoshop on a Mac, then printing them from Quark. Unfortunately, PowerPoint can't handle something in the TIFF files that are created in AniConvert, and I'd rather not go through multiple conversions across platforms just to get an image into PP. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris Barnes.

You might try out different compression schemes (or no compression) when you use AniConvert to create the tiffs. I've found that many programs can't handle compressed tiffs–or some can handle LZW compressed, but not Packbits compressed. Also, have you tried Numpic.poc to convert the flic frames to tiff pictures? I'm not sure what compression scheme (if any) it uses, but it's the easiest way to create slides. – Jack

Thanks, Jack, I'll give Numpic a try. Haven't used those poco programs enough… Chris Barnes
