Anyone know how to get Term 2.2 to work with CIS correctly. Everytime I use it on CIS I get the User ID: prompt but when I enter my ID and hit enter the password prompt is all screwed up. Any suggestions? I am using a USR DS modem at 9600. It also screws up at 2400 but not a 1200. Weird!

Frank, go into Settings/Terminal and put a checkmark next to Strip Bit 8. Chris

Frank: I use Term 2.2B with a 2400 bps MNP modem (link speed of 9600 bps). My serial settings are 9600 bps, 8 data bits, no parity, one stop bit. I also have "Strip Bit 8" enabled in the terminal settings. Hope this helps. Wayne

Wayne, Whoops your reply got directed towards me instead of Frank. Personally, I don't use Term2.2b here is CIS and the few times I've tried outside of CIS to use it the transfer rate was appallingly slow. I don't whether it was me or Term2.2b but I gave up using trying to use it. But you are correct about having "strip bit 8" turned ON (or checkmarked). Chris
