Runing ARP '040 fix?

Well, I found the ARP040.LHA file that contains a routine to hook into the
exec to handle a problem between the arp.library and the 68040. The
proble is that there is little documentation aside from the header in the
source file. It is unclear to me if I have to run this every time I start
the machine (e.g. call from startup file) or run the "patch" routine just
once. Can anyone help?

The ARP040FIX program needs to be run EVERY TIME you start up your
system, since it does an "on the fly patch" to the ARP.LIBRARY, without
which, your 68040 WILL choke.
Just execute the program in your Setup-Sequence or User-Startup script
BEFORE invoking ANY program which uses the ARP.LIBRARY, and you'll be OK.

but I can be obtuse about hints – ask my wife! ;^}
