Does that leave just Amiga World & Amazing Amiga? Those are the only two I know
of, so if there are more that I could subscribe too, I'm all ears!

There are lots of other Amiga magazines, but those are the only two
biggies published in the US. The UK, for example, has several major Amiga
rags.

Yeah, I've gotten some of them actually (Amiga Power is one, right?). I guess I
was just talking about mags in the US…

There is also "Amiga Video Graphics Magazine" which is put out by Pacific
Media 1-800-233-4AVG (4284). They put out a good product with an emphasis
on video/3D topics but lately the subscriptions have been coming
erratically.
It is a good professional publication so if the new owners (previously it
was called AVID) can get their stuff together it will be a valuable
resource. I like it better than AW and it is more focused than A/C
Amiga.
Video Toaster User is another publication for toaster users.

Thanks for the tip! I honestly had not heard of AVID… I have heard of Toaster
User (but alas, I haven't actually used a toaster yet!

Don't worry. I haven't had the pleasure of using a toaster either, one of
these days… 8^)
IMHO, Amiga Video Graphics is a good rag, I hope their problems are just
organizational, not financial.

Well, I for one miss the 'ole .INFO magazine, it was probably the most reckless
of all the mainstream mags.
Anybody know what Ben and Jerry are up to these days??
And for my own two-cents-worth, the Resource was poorly done, handled VERY
poorly (subscription only?!) except for Denny's areas.
Perhaps we could convince Amigaworld to hire Denny Atkins – and perhaps Lee
Stranahan (Video Toaster User -his baby, tho-)…
Anyways, the market IS getting awful thin…

In case you haven't heard, Ben & Jerry are selling ice cream… a wonderful,
reckless, hi-fat ice cream! Much, much better than .INFO. <g>

Ya, .INFO was always great fun. I was always amazed that although it was
very thin there seemed to be alot of INFO in it. I heard that Ben, or was
it Jerry, went to Compute! Resource. If so I wonder if he is looking for
a new job? 8(
In the last year Resource had some excellent articles but I found it to be
far too sparce. Compute! should have put out ONE magazine with mixed
coverage for all to see. I'm interested in general coverage but I don't
want to be subjected to PeeCee Windoz propoganda without the Amiga gospel
going the other way!
