#IDE broken on 386bboard?

I tried my video/io card and the hdisk in a friends 486 box 2 days ago and
it all worked a treat. I really thing htere is a problem either with the
daughter board and/or the mother board. If so I reckon I'm totally
knackered. So much for quality control 🙁

Have you tried it on another BB equipped Amiga? At least to determine if it's
an incompatibility with the BB. Since I'm unfamiliar with the board, I'm sort
of at a loss for advice.
Yes, I did try it some weeks ago and all worked at the time. I'm trying my
bboard, video card and hdrive on a friends 2000 to morrow morning
(Sunday)
I'm beginning to feel it's either the daughter board or mother board or
perhaps both.

Well, good luck in trying to track down the problem.
Ok, tried the bboard on friends A2000. IT ALL WORKS. Ain't life a
bitch.
This seems the problem is either the daughter board or the mother board.
SO now I have to borrow a dboard and hope that works.
