Brian:
The message is as follows:
—————————————————-
Can't open screen with driver
"C:\ani\resource\VESA.DRV"
640 x 480 mode 0
Video BIOS could not set up requested graphics mode
Any key to continue>
——————————————————
I got another reply that suggested I try the VESA32 driver in the graphics
support forum. I downloaded this driver and it worked for the 640 x 480 mode,
but not the 800 x 600 mode.
Whattaya think?

The message definitely means that the video mode (or driver) is not able to be
accessed by AAPRO for some reason. I have heard that Vibrant Graphics makes a
driver specifically for that board, give them a call or drop them a line here
on the forum. I have also heard that on some models of the 1280 Orchid can do a
BIOS upgrade on the board itself. You might want to give them a call and
explore that option.
As far as VESA32 only being able to access 640×480, are you sure there is
enough memory on the board for higher modes? Other 1280 people may be able to
answer this question as well.
