We are a software developing company residing in Israel and we need to know thw Algorithims involved in writing programs for Windows in Hebrew and in English. Please let me know of anyplace within CompuServe or wherever that I can find information to help us with the programming. I'm told that I need to get a hold of the group in Washington that deals with programming for the Middle East. They are supposed to be the experts in using the Unicode. Can you by any chance get me a CompuServe number for them or a fax number. Thank you for the help Batya There are 2 Replies.

You may reach the Unicode Consortium itself at: 1965 Charleston Road Mountain View, CA 94043 415-961-4189 Fax: 415-966-1637 Internet: unicode-inc@unicode.org They can help get you information on Unicode, although only to a minor extent information regarding Unicode in any particular environment — Windows, etc. Also, keep in mind that Unicode is currently only supported in Windows NT, not Windows. Hope this helps! There is 1 Reply.

Batya, The WINEXT forum has just added a new section to cover the Middle East Win 3.1 SDKs including Hebrew, Arabic and the new ME II windows. I do not know when BiDi support will be added to WIN32. You might ask in S15 (Unicode/NLS) section of this forum. Carl There is 1 Reply.
