I have the Preliminary releases of the Win 32 SDK <on CD> And am eagerly awaiting the final version. My Question is: Is there a way to do a WIN NT ONLY install for the time being until I can upgrade my Hard Drive? And does it matter what type<s> of hard drives it is installed on? ie. IDE SCSI, etc? Thank You, Scott There is 1 Reply.

Hi Scott. You can install the Windows NT operating system and not install the Win 32 SDK. They are separate steps during installation. Please check the hardware compatibility list for the type of hard drive you have to ensure that it is supported. Please direct any follow up questions on setup and install to the WINNT forum. The WINNT forum is designed for end-user issues including setup and install, so the people who monitor that section will have the most up-to-date information regarding which drives are supported and which aren't.
