HI, I am looking for a complete set of "The OS/2 to Windows Migration Kit plus tool updates". Is this available freely. I see some of the tools mentioned in John Halls article are here in this forum, but some essential parts don't seem to be here. Can someone help me out. I am in South Africa, and I am willing to spend some time downloading if necessary. Regards Wayne Friedman There is 1 Reply.

Hi Wayne. Here is the current list of porting tools that are available in Lib 11: " annote.zip Out of date, don't bother. apicnt.zip It is there, upload date 7/22/92 helpc.zip help.zip 11/9/92 imagec.zip Uploaded 7/22/92 os2port.zip Get all of the 4/15/93 uploads instead resconv.zip resc.zip, 11/9/92 updt01.zip Dated. " Look for 'KIT' in this section. Also look for Contributor == 70750,2341 Make sure you grap the ones on shared memory and queues if you use either facility under OS/2. Nancy, Thanks for the info. Is annote.zip important. Where can I get a more appropriate version? Wayne

Hi Wayne. Sorry for the confusion. I've checked on what is still out there (some of the files have been updated/removed/etc.) and here's a listing of what you should be able to find in LIB 11 that covers OS/2 porting. Please let me know if you don't find items on this list and I will make sure that they are put back into the library. Nancy, Thanks for the info. I have all of the files you have listed, and from an auto-port point of view, they haven't been much good. Analyz.zip does not seem to work. MS_SSED changes a file generated by SED, but only very slightly (not much good). SED only does some very rudimentry changes. I will however try my luck. Do you guys not have any other tools to make my life easier? Wayne There is 1 Reply.

Hi Wayne. Other than the tools I listed, we do not have any more tools to aid you in porting – sorry. Nancy Cluts Microsoft Developer Support
