Is it true that Excellence! and Pro Write are no more?
In response to the offer to upgrade from my obselete WP
should I purchase Final Copy II?
I do own PageStream. But I do need a good WP.
Thanks

hi James
I don't know about Excellence! and Pro Write are no more. But I've just
read a reveiw on FCII and it wasn't very good. They said it took too long
to set up. I've been using Pro Write since my Amiga 2000 has been Turbo
Charged up by GVP 40Mhz Combo. It's to slow on a standard Amiga.
I like to know weather Pro Write is to be continued?

Gary,
You are confusing excellence! with ProWrite. Microsystems Software (the makers
of excellence!) are out of business, but our company (New Horizons, the makers
of ProWrite) are doing fine.
By the way, we have a vendor support section in the AMIGAVENDOR conference on
CompuServe if you have any questions about ProWrite or any of our other
products.

Dear James
I don't think I was confusing excellence with ProWrite. Sorry to hear
Microsystems have gone out of business, Scribble was the WP I used and it
served me well for a long time but they never improved it.
I would be most gratefull if you could tell me the most recent version of
ProWrite. Mine is version 3.2. If there is a upgrade avalible how much
does it cost.
Thanks

James,
Is that official about MSS? I'd seen a lot of rumours and certainly
they haven't been responding but I've also seen too many premature deaths
(even the last note I got from Gramma read `rumours of our demise are
untrue').
If so, have you heard of anybody taking over the products or making switch
offers?

James,
I don't know about Excellence!, but ProWrite is alive and well. Hop on
over to AmigaVendor Forum (GO AMIGAVENDOR) and you'll find that New
Horizons has a support section for their products.

James,
ProWrite is alive and well. We continue to offer the most bang for the buck of
any Amiga Word Processsor. Feel free to stop by Section 5 of Amiga Vendor and
ask any questions that you may have.
