QUANTUM MOUNTLIST??
5 messages in this thread
Does anyone happen to have, or know exactly how to create, a mountlist for a
Quantum 240MB SCSI hard drive?? I have one installed on a GVP 030 COMBO that's
crashed for the 2nd time in under a year. The GVP manual makes several
references to using a mountlist from a floppy to get a hard drive up and going,
but of course I don't have one on floppy….
Hoping someone can help,

RDPrep in the Microbotics section of Amiga Vendor, can read the RDB off of
your drive if it is intact, then it can write out a mountlist for it.
If the RDB is not intact, it's going to be pretty hard to figure out,
unless you had it partitioned as only 1 partition.

Bob,
I don't think the RDB is intact. The system acts as if there's no hard drive
present at all. I have a GVP program called FaaastPrep that's supposed to do
the same thing, and it doesn't 'see' the hard drive there, either…
Thanks, though!

Jerry,
Use the FAAASTPrep Software whick is supplied with the GVP Combo package.
In the pulldown menu, there is an option to create a mountlist.

Ernest,
Thanks for the reply. FaaastPrep doesn't see the drive as being present, so
I'm just sending the board and drive on up to GVP.
Thanks again!
