I have just installed my PgS 2.22 on my new hard drive. Disks 1 and 2 were
automatically installed, but how do I put my other Fonts and Dingbats disks in
place?

I don't see an answer to your question so here is an attempt…
I suspect that you are talking about adding additional fonts for PgS to
use, yes?
Just copy the fonts to the PSFonts directory (probably best to create a
directory in PSFonts in which to place the new fonts).
Startup PgS and select "Set/Save Paths" from the "Global" menu. Choose
"Font Manager…". Choose "Add…" Click on the directory that you
created for the fonts and Choose "OK". If you placed the fonts into an
existing directory then instead of "Add…" you would choose "Update".
Choose "Save" or "Save Default" to exit each of the requesters and you
should be "in business."

Oh dear, confusion reigns! I have already prepared the disks as outlined by
you, I used them in my second floppy drive. I now want to install them on my
hard drive Do I drag them into the PgS drawer, which is in the WORK partition?
I seem to be having trouble explaining myself, this is because I am a complete
computer illiterate…ooh I feel so frustrated!! Thanks for your
help…..but…!??

I routinely copy things around (like when changing hard drives) but I
believe that you would be better off starting with the Original PgS disk
set and using the installation program to put the program onto the hard
drive.
Now, taking a guess… If you are talking about having just the fonts on
floppies then do the following to move them to where you have PgS itself
installed:
Startup PgS, select Set/Save Paths from the Global Requester and choose
Font Manager.
Click on the font(s) that you have added (that are on your floppies) and
choose "Remove." Do this for each of them until you have only fonts
listed that are on the hard drive currently. Save out of the requesters.
Now there is more than one way to do this next step so here is one method
that should work:
From the WorkBench, open the Pagestream drawer and then the PGSFonts
drawer.
Open a disk that contains fonts that you want to install and drag a font
drawer into the open PGSFonts window (but not directly on top of anything
already in the window). Repeat this step for each directory of fonts that
you want for PgS.
Go back to PgS (or restart it if necessary) and get back into the Font
Manager. Add the new drawers to the font list by choosing "add" and then
selecting each of the drawers (one at a time) and "save" out of the
requesters when you are done.
The reason that I had you start with deleting the added fonts initially
may not be required as the first action but I am suggesting it for safety
(and it does need to be done at some point).
If any of this is not clear, just ask. People such as myself that have
been with the Amiga since 1985 tend to think that their instructions are
clear and obvious when "it 'taint necessarily so."

Thank you for your help Bill, it is people like you who make CI$ the great
system it is. If I fall flat on my face with the HDInstallation you`ll be
hearing from me again!!!!

You posted to SL-Tech but that's OK. You are welcome. Not to get all
"mushy" or whatever but to be quite honest trying to help others is just a
part of the "pay back" for all of the help that I have had through the
years on CIS.
Particularly in the earilier days of the Ami, people would even
reconfigure there machines (both hardware and software wise) to try to
track down problems for others (including me).
This effort that was clearly "above and beyond the call of duty" has
created (for me anyway) a special bond with literally hundreds of very
fine people located all over the world.
The really happy thought is that this has been going on for years and
doesn't look as though it is going to end anytime soon!
