Chris, yes, we (almost) all have trouble to use the unpack script resp. the LHX routine. It is _not_ caused by a specific system configuration. It has following reason: The script is trying to copy something (i.e. the default icons for "DosDrivers") to a directory DEVS:DosDrivers, which does not exist in standard workbench environment. Here are these lines (in the file Install): echo noline " Installing XEN-Icons to SYS:Devs/DOSDrivers…" list > ram:MWB SYS:Devs/DOSDrivers/#[a-z].info lformat "copy > NIL: XEN-Icons/Devs/DOSDrivers/def_DOSDriver.info %s%s" failat 21 execute > NIL: ram:MWB list > ram:MWB SYS:Devs/DOSDrivers/#?0.info lformat "copy > NIL: XEN-Icons/Devs/DOSDrivers/def_DOSDriver0.info %s%s" execute > NIL: ram:MWB … etc. This means: get from directory "SYS:Devs/DOSDrivers" all filenames, starting with just letters, followed by no digit or one of the digits 0 to 4, followed by ".info" (which is the type code for an icon file). Then make a line for each of these as follows: "copy >NIL: XEN-Icons/Devs/DOSDRivers/def_DOSDriversx.info %s%s" This line means: From the directory where the new default icons are in get the related default icon file, and copy it to the path/filename found = overwrite the old one. Do not display anything (= -> NIL:). Then put this line into a file, named "ram:MWB", overwriting the old contents of that file, again do not display anything. Finally execute this file "ram:MWB" – which means: do the copying. You could inspect the file ram:MWB if you wanted. Now if there is no such a directory "SYS:Devs/DOSDrivers" then the LIST gives the result: "Object not found" and the COPY then returns: "Required argument missing". I think, that this is irrelevant for success of MagicWB – when there are no DOSDrivers, then there will not be any icons for these and therefore need not be changed. So you could delete these lines from the script file or just delete "/DOSDrivers" wherever it occurs, leaving the rest untouched. More difficult is the fact, that the LZH does not unpack all files. I will look into it, but do not have the time right now. At least unpacking the MagicWB.lzh file mith lha (another unpacker) instead of lzh will give you all the unpacked files.
