I recently upgraded to Janus v2.1. On the DOS side when I CD to one of
the 4 jlinked drives and do a Dir, it takes about 25 seconds before the
listing appears! Pretty slow. Anyone know the cause/solution is?

try to set ADDBUFFERS for the Amigadrive where the JLink virtual drives
reside higher – this might help.

Ken, I just do not know. I have 250 and it works good enough. But it also
depends obviously on the size of the virtual drive, the number of files ,
directories etc. on the JLink drive, the speed of the Amiga hard drive and
somewhat on the Amiga processor speed.
I suggest, just try more. For the AutoBoot drive C= say in the manual that
you should have 30 to 50 buffers for each Megabyte of the virtual (AB)
drive. But I don't know if this is also true for a JLink drive.
