I need to replace two heat sensitive components on my Amiga 3000 motherboard. They are identified as: U202 P/N 390256-02 U203 P/N 390257-02 These are programmed 16L8D PALs. I have contacted a couple authorized dealers and SMG parts with no luck. I have been told that these components are not available separate from a motherboard swap. I have seen prices for a motherboard swap as low as $399.00 and have been quoted $650.00(dealer) and $3735.00(end user) by SMG parts. Does anyone know of cheaper source of these CBM parts?

I will sell you my entire A3000 for $650 (25 MHz 030, 6 meg ram, 40 meg HD). Then you can just pull the part off however you like. Bob

I will pay you $25.00 for the two parts I need. They are: U202 P/N 390256-02 U203 P/N 390257-02 They are socketed; located near the chip RAM; easy to remove. 🙂

And then my A3000 is useless? I think not. Sorry, mate. <g> Bob
