John, In any earlier message I saw that you were looking for a used Hi-8 deck. We have a Sony EVO-9650 available. It's one of two we've been using for the past year. If I can sell it, we will be moving up to SP or the LVR laser disk recorder… which leads to a question… If possible, please fill me in with any info you may have on recording to Abekas digital formats and saving our .tga-files to Exabyte format. I understand that these formats produce the highest quality output. — DJM

I'm definitely interested in the deck — see E-mail I sent you regarding VTR and the Abekas stuff. Abekas IS the way to go for maximum picture quality, and you can't beat the price. PVR here in San Francisco does Abekas transfer at $200/hr, and a company I deal with also has GREAT prices. Call me if you would like more info on this "other company".
