I am currently a user of Animator Pro 1.0, and since I needed to output BMP sequences, I finally decided to upgrade to Animator 1.3. I am currently using 386max v6.02. When I try to run animator 1.3 I get an error message stating "4051 Abnormal Program termination Illegal Instruction CS:EIP = F000h:0000001Eh" Everything works OK if I use himem.sys instead. Does anyone have some suggestions?

FWIW, have you tried excluding the area of memory specified in the error message? Just a thought…

I already tried to exclude the range f000-ffff but that did not help. Thanks for the feedbavck anyway Vatche

I sympathize. I've spent the last couple of weeks installing new hardware and software, and have had nothing but headaches. John Tissavary (La Luna cie)

Not such a big deal. Create a batch file as follows cd\ani ani -m 5333333 This should free up your memory on entering program. dO THE SAME FOR ANICONV.
