3D Studio can automatically write out a short text file at each frame
of the animation with the frame number in it. All you have to do is
to read this file for your numbers for your ZIP program.
How do you get 3DS to write the frame number out to a text file? I
looked first in the manual, but didn't see any references to this.
If you are using the frame number to unzip files, then the file inside of the
zipped file would also need to have the same last four digits?
What are you doing this weekend, developing this nice little utility
that will save Mega Bits of hard disk space (grinning, but somewhat
serious)? I am having to store 2 sets of Targa images and render out
to a third image, also a 24 bit Targa image. I just don't have this
kind of space on my hard disk.
