#Spurt problem?
9 messages in this thread
I seem to be having a problem with spurt. I've got an animation which
requires the spurt to start happening at frame 60 so here's my settings:
Absolute Frame: 60 Peak: 1 Hold: 40 End: 60
This doesn't seem to work. I would say that all I get is a
blank screen but that's not exactly true either — because I DO get
the little circle element that the spurt is supposed to be generating
through. It works fine when I put the absolute frame number to 0 but
60 doesn't seem to do the trick. I must be missing something real
simple here..

You're probably using the 9/92 version of spurt… we updated it to fix a time
envelope problem in March. Send me a request for it on Easyplex with the data
of your order to Schreiber Instruments. I'll check it out and then email a new
version back to you.

Good to hear that this is not something that's not just happening to me
alone. I probably do have the old copy (I got all the IPAS's when they were
first announced). Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is EasyPlex? How do I
send you the info that you need? ..

Easyplex is Compuserve email. Just type go email from any CIS prompt.

Hey, I probably have the same version as well — does this mean I
should have the March version? I ordered all the IPAS stuff when
it was first announced from Yost Group — any other updates/changes
I should be aware of?
Also, just what "data" do you want from the order? I suppose I can
dig up the invoice — although I think that going through nine months
of invoices is going to be a job — but aren't I just on file for spending
$1500 with the Yost Group (since we had to order this stuff direct
anyway)?
Just Easyplex me with your approximate order date, and I can go into the
database and find your order.
If you don't have the March version of spurt and want an update, send me that
info via email.

Will Spurt run (slowly) on version 2.0? Or is 2.01a needed? Thanx, LAM
Spurt will run very slowly on 2.0. You need to get 2.01A, Larry.
Ok, OK, I won't say it………………..<g> Does seem to be a
common thread here………………….wonder what the bugs cost end
users ?
