#Going to WOC?
29 messages in this thread
Last year we all met in person at WOC Pasedena.
Ya wanna do it again?
It was pretty nice to see all your mugs attached to your names, except for
the few who got "lost".
The 2nd annual CI$ Browsers Brawl will be at the BlackBelt Systems booth
on Saturday at 2 PM. Find out if your favorite on line personality looks
like they type 🙂
I'll be there representing "Chaocity". (Sharing a booth with
MegageM.) I'll try to escape from the booth at that time and drop by.
Lat year I came by the BB booth and only met Ben… Sat at 2:00? I
will be there.
If I'm there on Saturday, I'll see ya all. Don't know which day yet 🙁
As usual, operating on AutoPilot,

THIS time we hope to see you 🙂

We should all do something conspicuous to identify ourselves… any
ideas?
-Jonathan
Oh yeah-
Most important. Last year we got spare badges and just wrote CI$ and our
names. It's not easy getting a blank badge, I hope the same witch isn't
there.
Scotch tape on the forehead will work for the timid 🙂
I was suprised by how many people stopped me in the aisles and said "Hey-
I know who you are". There are a bunch of people reading these forums.

Jonathan:
I'm already conspicuous enough! <grin>
Clint <Chaocity>
Anybody here watch Red Dwarf? You could go for a silver "C" on your
forehead. ;^)
I have an idea for CI$ recognition at WOC… Does anyone know how to fold
a dollar bill into a bow tie? We could all wear one… kinda nerdy, but,
what the hay- We all wore them at my brother's batchelor party and …
well… that's another story. But they're easy to make, once you know how.
If there is any concurrance on this idea, I'll be happy to post
instructions.
-Steve
Around Commodore, when Henri Rubin headed engineering, all ties were
refered to as Zoe's. Henri always wore a bow-tie, and thus demonstrated
that he was a BowZoe.

I guess the idea doesn't sit well with you.
-Steve
Guess that wouldn't work too well with a Canadian dollar. ;^)
Aw, c'mon, you wouldn't really be able to spend that Canadian cash at the
show anyway.
-Steve
Steve,
You can spend Canadian cash almost anywhere. You just have to bring a lot
more. ;^(
I think you missed the point though. The reason you can't make a bow tie
out of a Canadian dollar is because we use a coin a bit bigger than a
quarter. Be worth about the same as a quarter if we don't get a new
government soon too. ;^)
I wasn't sure, but I was going to respond that a good set of pliers might
still make it work. Maybe wear a couple in your eye sockets, we'll know
who you are then. :')
-Steve
I like the idea… I wear a dollar bill every day anyway!
-Jonathan
The question is: Just how do you wear it? I'll upload some dollar bill
folding instructions, soon. But I don't want to be the only fool walking
around with one on. Remember Alice's Restaurant? "One person doing it, and
they'll take him away. Two people doing it, they'll think they're faggots
and take them both away, but three people… can you imagine three people?
They'll think its a movement…"
-Steve
I wear my dollar ribbon everywhere I go.. Some people call me a ditto
head! 🙂
-Jonathan
Yeah… but when the judge – the blind judge – gets a look at the 27 8×10
color glossy… never mind. :^)
–Ben
…via AutoPilot
And I'll bet they even make you pick up the garbage…
You got it. :^)
–Ben
…via AutoPilot
Yeah, but that will be about four or five hours later when Alice….Remember
Alice!
Yeah I've seen Red Dwarf 🙂 great comedy
On AutoPilot Over Hong Kong
Anyone who requested a 'yellow ribbon' for the last show should bring it
with them…. anyone who wants one, should send me _EMAIL_ with their name
and address IMMEDIATELY. These ribbons attach to the back of your badge
holder, and are printed in blue ink with "AMIGA FORUMS CIS MEMBER" or
something like that.
Sure, I'll try to be there…

It would be nice to see you in real life John 🙂

Don't be looking for a cranky old man… 🙂 (no offense intended to any
cranky old men present)
