I have an A2088 BB running Janus 2.1 My question is that I cannot get the amouse, dosserve, mouserserv or pcdisk to work. I realize that some of those programs are the old version, but I was desperate. I am begginning to think that I may not have received the new versions for the PC side. My Amouse on the BB is dated in 1988, is there a new version that I did not recieve with my upgrade?? Also the same for the Aread Awrite commands. Thanks Gary

You aren't supposed to run the DOSSERVE, MOUSESERVE and TIMESERVE files on the Amiga side. You run the PC side .EXE files to get these to work, and the system looks for the first three automatically. If you don't have the same version files on the PC side, they won't work. Same with AMouse. You just run the PC side then do a Left-Amiga-P to go into PC mouse mode. If the AMOUSE.EXE program is not the right version compared to the Amiga side Janus software (there's no specific AMOUSE program on the Amiga side, as I recall), it won't work. Just to reassure you, though, I used to run Janus 2.1 with an A2088 and everything worked as advertised. Do a reinstall and make sure you're using all 2.1 Janus files or you won't get this fixed. All my 2.1 PC side Janus files are dated 9-11-91. Here are their sizes: AREAD.EXE 37383 AWRITE.EXE 37657 JLINK.EXE 34242 AMOUSE.COM 7069 ADISK.COM 5400 — Ron Legro from Milwaukee via AUTOPILOT (The only way to fly)

I do believe that you ansered my question. If I remember correctly I only received 3.5 inch amiga diskettes when I purchased the upgrade. I think I may have been missing the PC side of the janus disketts. Thanks, Gary
