I have a Stealth Pro SVGA card, and I want to know if I could use 32k of colors in 640×480 resolution. How? -JO-

Jose, the Stealth Pro SVGA should include ADI software drivers (probably by Panacea) called "turbodld" you will need to read the manuals to find out how to install this exactly. Generally, you will need a line in your autoexec.bat (or 3ds.bat) like this: SET DLDCFG=d:\turbodld SET RCPADI=d:\turbodld\RCTURBOD.EXP In your 3ds directory you will need to delete 3dadi.cfg and then start 3ds. It will then ask you some questions about what resolution you want for different displays. Good luck.

Jose, I heard there was a problem with viewing flic files (.flc and .fli) on the Diamond card. This is because of incorrect vesa usage by the card. There is no way to fix this, that I know of.

Jose, If you have the latest drivers from Diamond, v1.02, then you can use that resolution with your Stealth Pro. Or, you can download TRBDEM.EXE from this forum, it is our FREE 3D Studio Driver which fully support the Stealth Pro. -Chris Panacea

Hi, Jose I have the same problem. I can not view 32K colors on 640X480 resolution. Have you solved you problem yet? I think it is necessary to buy their PanaRender. How do you think? Min Tang

I read your reply, and it definetly sounds like you are using an old version of the driver. The Stealth Pro was shipping with the original Stealth driver for awhile. The latest driver that Diamond has is 1.02, that should fix everything. Good luck! -Chris Panacea
