Does anyone know of a DOS based program for compression and playback of .FLC files with synchronized audio? Something like what the folks at Trilobyte have done with The 7th Guest. I appreciate your suggestions.

I believe Trilobyte designed their own compression code, as indicated in their videotape "The Making of the 7th Guest." You really have to design your own code to do what you want, otherwise you have to depend on someone else. At present I'm doing just that for a project I am working on, I need a FLC to decompress "on the fly" so I have to write an interface for my program.

John, I'm most interested in your developments with regard to FLC decompression on the fly. Could you please describe your efforts so as to enlighten the rest of us? As I have a project underway that will stream FLC files from CDROM this is really a crucial issue. Thanks and regards from London, UK
